We are proud of our firefighters in NSW, WA & QLD

With NSW, WA and QLD declared in a State of Emergency due to catastrophic bushfires burning across the states, AFPA acknowledges the tireless work of all firefighters and volunteers who are risking their lives to save homes, lives and our precious forests.

Our forest industries workers – including staff at Forestry Corporation of NSW, plantation managers and forest contractors – are an integral part of their local firefighting efforts.

We urge everyone to stay safe and follow the advice of the NSW and Qld Rural Fire Service. Visit www.rfs.nsw.gov.au or www.ruralfire.qld.gov.au or www.dfes.wa.gov.au to donate and stay informed.
