In November 2022, Australia’s forestry and farming industries will be represented at the World Climate Conference in Egypt (COP27) by the Australian Forest Products Association (AFPA) and the National Farmers Federation (NFF).
Both organisations will organise and participate in a range of events to explain and expand the profile of how forest and farming industries can help Australia and the world meet climate change mitigation targets.
Growing a sustainable supply of timber and wood fibre, along with climate smart farming practices, won’t only help reduce the impact of climate change, it will secure supply so Australia and the world can manufacture essential renewable timber and fibre products and feed the world into the future.
AFPA and the NFF will also collaborate with other Australian and international organisations as part of these events. Please see below for more information on the events we are involved with.
